The Evolution of Our School
Mangal Vidyalayam was established on June 27, 2001, and operates under the auspices of the Rajanna Foundation (formerly Amararaja Educational Society), a CSR initiative of the $2.00 billion Amara Raja Group.
The institute was founded as a tribute to the parents of the group's Founder Chairman, Dr. Ramachandra N Galla—Smt. Galla Mangamma garu and Sri Galla Gangulu Naidu garu. Mangal Vidyalayam is built on the principles of Sri P Raja Gopal Naidu garu, a distinguished former Parliamentarian, renowned writer, educationist, and social reformer.
The institution was inaugurated with the golden hands of Dr. Ramadevi Gourineni Garu, the beloved daughter of our honorable Founder Chairman, Dr. Galla Ramachandra Naidu, and Smt. Galla Aruna Kumari. Its journey began with 58 students, supported by 3 staff members, offering education from LKG, UKG, and Class I.
Guided by the noble mission of delivering quality education at an affordable cost, and propelled by unwavering determination, strong leadership, and a clear vision, the institution has steadily enhanced its strength and stature. Since its affiliation with CBSE in 2016-17, it has continued to grow and excel. Today, the school serves a student body of 2,300 students, supported by 83 dedicated staff members, across 100 villages in 5 mandals, facilitated by a fleet of 20 buses.

President’s message
Dr Ramachandra N. Galla
Greetings!
The foundation of our educational journey was laid by the inspiring vision of Late Sri P. Raja Gopal Naidu garu, whose profound ideals touched the lives of many and continue to guide generations. His enduring legacy inspires us to uphold his values and carry forward his vision with unwavering commitment and purpose.
There is a deep sense of responsibility to dedicate efforts toward preserving his legacy and ensuring that his principles are reflected in the lives of students.
A significant duty lies in supporting students to develop into responsible global citizens, equipped with the skills necessary for success in the modern world.
Collaboration between educators and parents is essential to understand the challenges faced by students and to provide appropriate guidance and support.
In an ever-changing society, students must acquire 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, decision- making, problem-solving, collaboration, effective communication, and awareness of resource conservation for sustainable development.
Encouraging students to take ownership of their learning, while integrating efforts with teachers and parents, fosters intrinsic motivation and cultivates lifelong learners.
Additionally, fostering a sense of social responsibility-contributing to society and demonstrating compassion and humanity-is vital. Collective efforts towards this noble mission can significantly contribute to building a stronger, more progressive nation.
May divine blessings be upon our endeavour.
